How it works

  1. Click a cell and type. Start with = to write a formula such as =SUM(A1:A10) or =IF(A1>5,"yes","no").
  2. Format cells (bold, colour, number, percent, rupee, date), sort, merge, add rows and columns, and add more sheets.
  3. Open or save CSV and Excel files, or press Chart to turn the table into a chart in Data Studio.

Which formulas work?

SUM, AVERAGE, MIN, MAX, COUNT, COUNTA, IF, AND, OR, NOT, ROUND, ABS, SUMIF, COUNTIF, VLOOKUP, CONCAT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEN, UPPER, LOWER, TRIM, TODAY, NOW, SQRT, POWER, MOD, IFERROR and PRODUCT.

What if a formula points to itself?

The cell shows #CIRC! (circular reference) instead of freezing. Change the formula so it does not depend on its own cell.

Is my sheet uploaded?

No. It is calculated and saved only in your browser on this device.

Does it replace Excel?

It covers everyday work. Pivot tables, macros and the full Excel function list are not included.

How big can a sheet be?

Up to 10,000 rows and 52 columns. Very large sheets are faster on a laptop than on a phone.
