What is the difference between a tool and a studio?

A tool does one quick job, like compressing a PDF. A studio is a bigger workspace where you keep working on a file: edit a PDF, design a poster, chart a spreadsheet. A studio also saves your work on your own device.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Every studio runs inside your browser. Your files and projects stay on your device and no account is needed.

Which studios work on a phone?

PDF Studio, Document Scanner, Drop Zone and Tool Chains work on a phone. Design, Data, Graph & Geometry, 3D, Docs and Sheets need a bigger screen: on a phone they show phone-friendly tools and guides instead.

Can I use a laptop-only studio on my phone anyway?

Yes, if your phone is wide enough. Turn on Desktop site in your browser menu and open the studio again. It works best on a tablet or a laptop.

Where is my work saved?

In this browser only. Use Back up everything in My Space now and then, because clearing site data can remove saved projects.

Is it free?

Yes. All studios and tools are free to use.
